DNA and genomic services
Our genomics and molecular testing services enable genetic selection, biosecurity assurance, and environmental monitoring across species and sectors.
- GenomNZ – ISO 17025-accredited, high-throughput DNA sequencing and genotyping across livestock, plants, forestry, and aquaculture.
- Ecogene – Molecular diagnostics for species identification, biosecurity screening, and conservation genetics.
- CarLA Saliva Test – Saliva-based diagnostic for detecting parasite resistance in sheep, cattle, and deer.
- RamGuard – Testing service for facial eczema tolerance in livestock, underpinning genetic improvement across New Zealand flocks.
- AgPac Methane Measures – On-farm measurement of methane emissions in livestock, supporting climate-resilient breeding programmes.
