We develop new catch and aquaculture technologies, producing more seafood in sustainable ways.

We use our knowledge of fish biology and behaviour to develop new wild-catch and aquaculture technologies that reduce environmental impact and improve the quality of the harvest, including new aquaculture systems that can be used in exposed ocean environments. We breed fish with improved production and quality traits, and develop tools and technologies to ensure aquaculture production systems are sustainable long-term.
