We develop materials and fuel alternatives from biological resources, improving environmental sustainability and reducing waste.

We develop methods for processing sustainably sourced biomass, including industrial byproducts and waste-streams, into products with enhanced functionality and performance, such as biofuels, bioplastics, packaging alternatives and chemicals. We look for ways to reduce the impact of industrial processing on the environment and create new income streams from low value biological resources.
